Jane's kitchen is sugar and spice and everything nice
Back to list
Welcome to House Call, where we take a look at how people – mostly regular folk like you and me, and some local food heroes – keep their kitchens and dining rooms preened.
Jane Middleton is a freelance cookery book editor and founder of Cinnamon Toast – an elegant, bespoke bakery business based in Bath. She expertly churns out delicate sweet treats ranging from immaculate macaroons of both classic and unusual flavours, to lavender shortbreads and colourful animal-shaped biscuits of varying size, all from the comfort of her modern home kitchen. During our visit, we lusted after her bright and airy conservatory dining room, and ogled bold statement pieces like the slate grey baroque-styled armchair and a pair of Philippe Starck ghost chairs.
